I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and I work with adults to help them navigate challenging periods of transition at all stages of life, including grief and loss, relationship issues, parenting struggles, and feelings of depression and anxiety.

You may be coming to therapy for help with a specific issue you are struggling with or because you are seeking a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings. I strive to create an environment where we can invite compassionate curiosity without judgement. I value and respect each person’s personal journey and will work with you to help you find greater peace and contentment in your life by exploring and nurturing your abilities and unique strengths.

I am honored and humbled to work with my clients in this process, and I look forward to the opportunity to meet with you and begin this work together.

My Therapeutic Approach

I believe that therapy is a unique space where we can get curious about your patterns, explore your personal history and relationships, and discuss what is most pressing for you. My training is heavily rooted in a psychodynamic approach, which means that our early experiences from childhood and beyond impact how we see the world and what we believe about ourselves and others. I work with my clients to explore and question the "shoulds" in their belief system and to explore what is working and what isn't.

I don't subscribe to a cookie cutter approach to therapy, so in addition to psychodynamic therapy, I integrate aspects of other therapies at times such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT),  gestalt therapy, narrative therapy, and family systems therapy into our work together.  I check in with my clients regularly to find out how therapy is going, and I invite my clients to let me know what is working and what isn't so that we can adjust as needed.
